Spain: Verifactu, TicketBAI and a till ready for your accountant

This one is about Spain too. What saves you work every week is having payment live in the same calendar where ClaudIA already closed the appointment, and your accountant getting the month in order without retyping anything. On the law: on 5 October 2026 the Spanish tax agency announced it is postponing Verifactu to October 2028, to line it up with e-invoicing between businesses; in Álava, Gipuzkoa and Bizkaia TicketBAI applies.

The simplified invoice that meets the regulation is being prepared, with nothing for you to send to the tax agency. And if you'd rather keep your current adapted POS, ClaudIA works alongside it without duplicating work: your calendar stays exactly as it is.

How it works

  1. You close the appointment in your calendar as always and charge it from its card.
  2. Each payment goes out as a payment receipt, with its numbering, and is never edited: a correction is a new document.
  3. Each service carries its VAT rate — or IGIC in the Canary Islands — and the summary for your accountant comes out by day, by payment method and by rate.
  4. What each stylist takes and their commissions show up in your reports, with nothing to cross-check.
  5. No new till and no separate invoicing software.
