At a veterinary clinic the phone rings just when nobody can answer: the team is in a consultation, in theatre or holding an animal. Someone calling for a vaccine or a check-up almost never leaves a message: they try the next clinic. In Spain, ClaudIA answers those calls with a natural voice and books the appointment during the call itself.
What it does on the call
It explains the services and opening hours the clinic has published, checks the real free times and books the appointment, in the same calendar as WhatsApp. Every call stays in the dashboard with its summary and transcript.
If the caller describes something that may be urgent, it gives them the first free time today and alerts the team at once, in their words. It doesn't ask about symptoms, doesn't say whether something can wait and doesn't talk about medication.
Without changing number
Forwarding is switched on from the clinic's phone with a code from the carrier: all calls, or only when the line is busy or the clinic is closed. The number is the usual one, and the team keeps answering when it can.
| Option | What happens with the calls |
|---|---|
| Answering machine | Almost nobody leaves a message; the appointment is lost |
| Calling back later | It's too late and ties up someone on the team |
| Voice assistant | Books the appointment during the call and flags anything urgent |
Where it's available
The voice phone line is available today for clinics in Spain, because the number calls are forwarded to is Spanish, and it comes with the Clínica and Clínica Plus plans. In other countries, ClaudIA answers on WhatsApp, Instagram and the booking page from day one.
Questions clinics ask

Do I have to change the clinic's number? No. The calls you can't take are forwarded, with a code from your carrier.
What does it do if someone calls about an emergency? It gives them the first free time today and alerts the team at once, without assessing anything or talking about medication.
